A Silent Voice is a beautiful manga that has an anime adaptation (that I highly recommend watching). It is a story about a boy as his perception of the world changes. It deals with themes of depression and love in a stunning way that catches the reader's attention and pulls at their emotions. The main character learns how to apologize after doing horrible things to another person. He begins to rebuild his reputation from a bully to a friend. His character arch is a stunning one that goes from him not being able to look others in the eye to him realizing that he can fix the wounds he created in the past.
This manga is a great read for anyone, despite their age or background. It's a story we can all understand and relate to in one way or another. A Silent Voice teaches the reader about empathy and kindness. This story is a must-read for anyone looking for a good cry, or an emotional story. It truly, and masterfully uses human feelings to grip the reader's heart and to keep the reader flipping pages till the very end of the story.
Overall, A Silent Voice is a must-read. It is beautifully written, (the anime has an amazing soundtrack) and it is a very emotional manga. Personally, I would rate it a ten out of ten. The story really did have me crying at the end! A Silent Voice is a must-read and should be on everyone's manga wishlist
