My Room is a Dungeon Rest Stop by Tougoku Hudou, follows Suzuki Touru, a college dropout who is looking for a simple, cheap apartment. He gets his wish, but at the cost of being connected to a fantasy world dungeon. Once inside the dungeon, he finds a girl wearing knight armor named Aria. He helps her back to his place and offers to let her use his bath to cleanup. Since the apartment is in the real world and not the fantasy one, there are a lot of things that Aria doesn’t know, like how the bath works or why Touru has so many figurines. She is convinced that Touru is a mage and that everything in his apartment is used for magic or was made with magic. Touru rolls with it and pretends to be magical and powerful.
The majority of this volume is Touru and Aria getting to know each other. Touru would show Aria some kind of modern tech, then explain how it “magically” works. On the other hand, Touru starts learning how the fantasy world works. Unlike the regular world, you have stats like magic and strength and can even level up! I highly recommend this to anyone who likes mixed fantasy and real-world stories. A warning for everyone, there is a good amount of fan service in this book. If you don’t like fanservice this may not be for you. That being said, this was a very funny story that had me laughing out loud at times and I can’t wait to read the next volume!
My Room Is A Dungeon Rest Stop Manga Volume 1
"Suzuki Touru has just scored an amazingly cheap apartment–but the reason it’s so cheap is the front door opens up to a classic fantasy dungeon! Luckily, Touru has always wanted to explore a dungeon. But when he stumbles across Ria, a beautiful blonde knight, he may well have gotten more adventure than he bargained for!
