Everything has lead up to this, the finale to one of the most popular anime of the 2010s. Now Attack on Titan has the potential to be the anime of 2020. The fight between Eren and the Titans will end; how that will happen is anyone’s guess (Except for manga readers. Shhhhhhh). The manga is a landmark of Japanese horror and cemented Junji Ito as a premier artist. Now Adult Swim is trying to bring it to television in a four-episode limited series. People have a right to be nervous as the Junji Ito Collection anime had a lukewarm reception. But with the director of Mushishi working on the project, rest assured this adaptation is in good hands.
