Beautiful Romance for Everyone

I am not really much of a romance novel/manga reader, mainly because they can be rather sleep-inducing, so my experience with the best of the genre is very limited. However, Orange was an absolutely amazing read that even non-romantics will enjoy. The art is breath taking, it took me longer to finish this volume as I would simply sit and stare at the gorgeous panel work. The story deals with time travel, the main reason I purchased it, and the mystery surrounding that along with the development of the relationships of every character kept me thoroughly entertained. The book itself is a collection of 3 volumes and is rather thick and short along with some of the pages having heavy ink which, from my extended reading, got on my fingers. But other than minor, extremely minor, physical imperfections, this is an amazing edition so buy this manga!

I picked up this volume because the anime is coming out this summer (2016), and I was really happy with how great the story was. It's very well written, and the pacing is perfect. The book isn't easy to put down, but if you take a break in between chapters you don't feel rushed to pick it back up- it's a difficult feeling to describe. If you like cute stories and you like time travel, pick this up.

The story and the art is really great! I read this in one sitting because i couldn't put the book down! I can't wait to read the second omni! Read this to hype myself up for the anime but it turned out to be really great! Maybe even better than the anime...

Time Travel + Romance and Feels? AWESOME! :D

I watched the first episode from the anime, and I immediately purchased this with volume 2. The plot is very good and unique as it keeps the mystery aspect going throughout the series. It was a good read and I definitely recommend it to fans of romance, mystery, and the feels genre lol. ALL ABOARD THE FEELS TRAIN! :D

A Beautiful and Important Tale

by -

Orange, now an anime, is a tale of friendship and the challenges and difficulties being a true friend requires. You'll laugh and cry along with these characters and some of them will feel like people who known and loved. I give this a solid recommendation.

Awesome Manga!

by -

I'm not normally a fan of shoujo manga, but this story captured my attention in a way few have. Everything from the characters, to the artwork, to the storytelling are top-notch. I did notice a few small typos in the dialog but other than that this is an excellent presentation of a wonderful story. As other reviewers have said, be prepared for feels galore. This manga does deal with the topic of suicide though, so it may not be for everyone. Personally I found it therapeutic -- it helped me through a recent bout of depression. I can't recommend this manga highly enough.

One of my favourites

I really think this is a must read, and I think it's better than the anime. Mine came in great condition, about 380 pages, with cute author notes. The art style is really nice. Despite it being a more serious drama, the comedic parts actually hit very well for me too.

This is such a moving story!

This is such a moving story! Naho is such a relatable character! More often then not, I saw myself in her shoes in how she would make decisions as well as rely heavily on the letter. I seriously could see myself doing that exact same thing! Though I'm not sure my friends would say I'm a mother hen. LOL!!

One of the most powerful things I love about this story is that I LOVE the message of being there for one another. There at times is an overwhelming push "to save" that I found was hard to read because it was so strong in seeing just how hard these characters are trying, but I feel that feeling of not wanting to lose a friend is real. A real friend would go to whatever lengths it takes to save them and that is why Orange is such a moving story.

I am nervous to keep reading because things are changing and I don't know how it will conclude, but I hope for the good.
