About Yuyushiki Blu-ray

Yuyushiki complete collection contains episodes 1-12 and was directed by Kaori.

Everyone knows you can learn a lot on the internet, and some of it is even true. But if you want to know what's REALLY going on and important, then there's just one place to go: the computer club!

Okay, so maybe it's not the club itself, but the three girls you're most likely to find there. And maybe they do spend more time chatting about their social lives and debating things like the virtues of ketchup versus mayonnaise than they do learning about the ins and outs of a keyboard, but whatever they're up to, it's sure to put a smile on your face.

So come learn what the mysterious YuiYukari Formula is all about and join serious Yui, hyperactive Yuzuko and lovable but not quite in touch with reality Yukari as they experience life's ups, downs, surprises, and occasionally, the internet!

Special Features: Clean Opening Animation, Clean Closing Animation.

Spoken Languages: Japanese, English subtitles.

Relaxed, but spontaneous

by -

Yuyushiki has a relaxed pace, but uses spontaneity and varied subject matter to maintain the viewer's interest. In their club, the three main characters discuss random trivia they find on the internet, from dondurma to whales. Outside of the club, the two boke goof about and flirt with the tsukkomi while she tries to retort. It's similar to a gender-swapped version of my workplace on a slow day. It isn't super exciting, but it is very interesting. It's a good show to watch while eating, or just before bed.

Note: Based on the dialogue and some slang terms (bean), I would say that this is probably the most overtly lewd Manga Time Kirara series to get animated. Still generally acceptable for most audiences, especially if they like yuri.

Yuyushiki: Surfing the 'net and friendship

by -

Yui, Yuzuko, and Yukari are three inseparable friends. Yui is level-headed, responsible, and cool. She’s also amazingly tolerant of the wild impulsive Yuzuko and the relaxed spacey Yukari. These three decide to revive the school’s all but dead Data Processing Club and spend their late afternoons googling random subjects and summarizing their research (the in-show search engine they use is actually “Hooya”). The slow pace is not for everyone and some may be put off by some of the character’s frankness about sex. Notwithstanding, the characters are very likable and the dialogue is fun and feels natural and unforced. A fine and pleasant ramble through the year with three fun gals who play off each other in amusing ways.

Friendship In A Realistic Yet Exaggerated Fashion

Yuyushiki is a terrific, adorable, hilarious, and heartwarming anime. Every episode is a joy to watch because of the funny jokes, realistic interactions, lovable characters, superb animation, bright colors, and lovely soundtrack. Yuyushiki doesn't go anywhere with story telling but it does go everywhere when it comes to entertainment and moe charm.
