Beautiful!

by -

Your Lie In April was the second anime I've ever watched & it means a lot to me. This Box set is a dream come true for fans of the hit anime! The Art cards included with are absolutely stunning and I've found myself staring at them completely mesmerized from time to time. The Blu ray cases feel very nostalgic, pink representing Kaori and Blue representing Kousei. Overall, this is a must have & is incredibly beautiful just like the anime ! Highly recommend!

Amazing!!

I’m so glad a complete box set was finally released for Your Lie in April. As soon as I saw it I had to buy it. I’m so excited to watch and add to my collection.

An amazingly priced complete set from Aniplex

by -

This is a review of the release and not the show. Normally I’d give this release a 3 or a 4 because of the lack of a chipboard box and no booklet, but it’s excusable not only for the art cards but mainly because of how it’s priced for an Aniplex title. While the box isn’t chipboard it’s still very nice and there’s attention to detail with different textures and colors on the slipcover. The cases are the usual, good quality Aniplex blu ray cases, similar to others in other sets. The art cards are a really nice addition and they’re all done very well. The quality of the transfer and the discs is also what you’ve come to expect from Aniplex. For $100 it’s definitely worth it. The show is excellent, but I doubt you’d be considering buying this if you weren’t already acquainted with the show. 5/5

An Intricate Series with a Grand Heartfelt Finale

Another Aniplex title I patiently waited for as a complete box set. Definitely a Seinen style anime that leaves a significant effect/impact on viewer(s); especially, during a final music competition near the end of the series. The music is nicely done throughout, and I was surprised and astounded at some of the elements in this show. Frankly, this anime showcased a vision/direction that is special, and that makes this series highly recommended for those seeking an intertwined story where one individual can unknowingly influence the lives of others through music.

The art cards are exquisite, and the BD cases are held inside a rigid/sturdy semi-opaque plastic box that has a pink colored hue to it...nice and five stars!

A Beautiful series

The one word I'd describe this series as it'd be the word Stunning. Everything from the visuals to the soundtrack to this series is beautifully done. The characters are all likable and believable, the episodes are great to watch and listen to and the relationships are interesting to watch. The dynamic behind Kousei, Kousei's mother and Kaori was pretty gut wrenching. I wont say much about it cause I don't wanna spoil what happens. My heart definitely went out to Tsubaki in this series and I hope if they ever do an episode that's shows what happened after the events of episode 22 it'll show that she ended up with Kousei. I will say that the first opening is the best of the two and is fun to listen to and watch.

As for the item itself while i do wish it was a chipboard i do think its still pretty nice. i do like the design on the box and i really do like how on the discs themselves it has those song notes youd see on a composition sheet. the art cards are also very nice.
