About Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches Essentials Blu-ray
Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches contains episodes 1-12 for the anime directed by Seiki Takuno
Suzaku High School has a big secret. One that punk student Ryu Yamada finds himself tangled in after a literal run-in with honor student Urara Shiraishi. The two find themselves in a bizarre body swap caused by...a kiss?! A convenient albeit weird new trick, the two keep switching places (and kissing!) until they’re found out by student council member Miyamura. Rather than give them away, he has a better idea—reform the Supernatural Studies Club. A great cover up...except for the fact that Yamada keeps kissing everyone!
Soon they learn they that aren’t the only two with abilities. In fact, school legend speaks of seven witches—female students gifted with different powers. But when they start seeking out the witches, they find themselves in a situation more dangerous than expected. Secrets kept by the student council, the powers that lie with the witches, and the possibility of losing everyone he’s grown close to—are the answers Yamada seeks worth the cost of everything he holds dear?

A great title to add to your collection

Yamada-Kun and The Seven Witches is a great anime to add to your collection. The beginning mainly focuses on developing character relationships and the fun the main character has with the witches powers. The plot really doesn't pick up until around the half-way point and is also really good and more cathartic than the beginning.
It's a funny anime with a heartfelt ending and would recommend it to anyone that likes school comedies.
Extremely Fun Series

First of all, I have to give props to Rightstuf for the way they secure your package. I have never received a package from them that wasn't in good condition. But, back to the show, the series is an incredibly fun watch with a blend of comedy, romance, and a little drama mixed in for good measure. Also, the show has one of my favorite OPs in anime. I would recommend this series to anyone that is looking for a little fun.
All they wanted was a budget...

I caught the first ep. online and just had to have it on blu-ray. I wasn't disappointed. The characters are great, the voice acting is superb - a great comedic performance from all. There's a lot going on with the varied cast of characters and their witch powers - sometimes the comedy flies under the radar so it's worth watching more than once to pick up missed details. The reactions of Yamada & co. are so over the top at times I'd almost guess the creators watched a lot of Ren & Stimpy. It's also one of the prettiest animes I've laid eyes on despite being a 12 episode high-school comedy. Wish there was more!
A Wonderful Magical Romantic Story To Enjoy!

Yamada-Kun & The Seven Witches is based on a manga series from Miki Yoshikawa in which it is adapted into a "Live-Action" drama TV Series from Japan. My youngest daughter have recommend this anime series to me earlier this year. I was overwhelmed on the 12 episode series especially the songs for both opening & closing themes. So I decided to order the "Essentials" BR Version during the Funimation Sale at RightStuf ASAP. Don't forget to watch a 2-Episode OVA that wasn't included on this Blu-Ray Edition. Also, the manga version of this series tells a much happier ending for Ryu Yamada & Urara Shiraishi to fully complete the story. Give it a try because it's a high school romantic comedy with a twist of magic that blends in on a modern setting. You won't regret it for watching over again.
