Anime great, product lackluster.

I love the series, the characters are enjoyable, the concept is fun and you may even learn something about bread. Still, I've watched the show before so I knew what I was buying.

Below are two issues I noticed:
1. Yellow subtitles with black border and horrible font choice. (White with Black border I'd prefer)
2. Timing issues - I've seen behind the scenes of how subtitles are added to episodes. It's a very long and arduous task. However, when you purchase a finished product you hope to receive professional level work. Several episodes the text will start late or it will disappear almost as fast as it appears. These timings can have you miss parts of dialog. This seems to be an ongoing issue throughout the entire box set sadly, not just one or two episodes.

Due to those errors I gave this a lower rating, it has nothing to do with the anime itself being bad, as I highly recommend the anime itself.

Really awesome show. The subs were a bit lackluster at times (due to what a previous reviewer said was bad timing), but overall, it was one of the best anime I got to watch lately. Really glad I watched it.

(Mind you, I did get the product for free from Nozomi Entertainment, but I was not and will never be paid for this review.)

ok at first I didn't think this series was going to be that good. but after watching it and laughing myself into a coughing fit, my mind changed.
and why wouldn't it, this series has comedy, romance, over reacting characters, cool opening and closing theme music videos, and lots of bread.

I simple love this series and I cook for a living.
