World's Greatest First Love DVD

My friend said this was good to her so her let me see two episode and I like it. When I ask about if you guys got it your answer no, but you have the manga, and then when you guys got the new releases it was on the list and I was so happy, so now I can buy it. Thanks, a lot.

Not a bad yaoi for anyone interested in slice of life rom-coms, this yaoi is a particular favorite of mine (second only to the masterpiece that is "Junjo Romantica"). As the title suggests the series is about first loves and all the bittersweet drama that comes with it, whether it's your high school sweetheart from ten years ago-- turned boss, or your childhood friend of 28 years who has been secretly in love with you the entire time, or a 30 year old man who only dates based on beauty and never expected to fall in love until a chance encounter with a very popular college student. "The World's Greatest First Love" shows that sometimes your first love can be your last love too!

i love this anime so much it is my favorite anime and i am so happy now to have the dvds. i also want to thank you so much i got it a lot sooner than i thought i would which was very awesome.

I looooove this series.
I don't watch much yaoi and not cause I don't enjoy them but most of what I saw hasn't grabbed my attention for to long but this one I watched from beginning to the end.
This anime made me laugh,cry,smile,even a little mad lol not cause these scenes where bad it's just I wanted more.

It's filled with great stories around well-defined and empathetic characters with just the right amount of tension in each scene. It is really well done and highly recommended.

If you enjoy romance, awkward situations, and guys who are just too cute for their own good then this anime is for you!

Seriously though, it's a great buy especially since it contains two seasons and the OVAs. It's a lighthearted anime, and the sex scenes are pretty tame (if that's something you're worried about). Overall, I highly recommend this anime!

This series comes from the world of Junjo Romantica, but you don't have to have seen that series to love this one. World's Greatest 1st Love balances the sweet, funny and overall cute BL stories with mature plots about finding and keep love. I really like that all the characters are adults trying to balance real lives with family, work and relationships. Also the insight into the manga publishing world is quite interesting(I have know idea how much is true). This set is a great deal because it has both seasons 1 and 2 (24 episodes total), plus 2 ovas. The packaging is super cute with the mascot flying bunny embossed on the brightly colored discs. The extras are just textless openings and closing and some trailer, however that does not deduct from the overall value of this set. In summary, if you are looking for a cute but more mature (not XXX) BL series this is definitely for you.

God I love this series and soooo wish they would continue it -- have seen it about 4 times plus all the OVAs and i am NOT a rewatcher of media. But I love the storyline and the characters. The chemistry between all the couples is so interesting to watch: the relationships can be complicated, funny, sweet and also painful: this is not a syrupy sweet anime. These characters are all struggling and self-reflecting. I laughed AND I cried. And the physical romance is really hot too, although the manga shows much more actual sex, which isn't shown the anime. This is also a very funny show. I find myself laughing out loud a lot and rewatching perfect scenes, like when the drunk female manga editor is complaining to Ritsu about manga authors and their messed up DNA. She is friggin' hilarious. If you like slice of life, yaoi or not, watch this. It'll get you happily lost in Takano and Ritsu's world.

This Yaoi series was pretty good from an adult perspective. It was really nice to see adults over the age of 21 interact with one another and deal with their problems. One does get tired of the romances between people under the age of 21. There are no explicit sex scenes, if you are concerned about that sort of thing. I just absolutely loved the comedy scenes that was featured through out this Yaoi anime series! It was so nice to see comedy featured! If you are on the fence about this Yaoi series, I think that you should give it a try. You just might like it.

This show is sooo cute! The animation is well done and the story is unique enough to be different enough that it stands out among some of the other boys love! It’s basically about first love but in the views of working adults and it’s one to add to your collection without a doubt!!

One of my favorite anime. Wish I could have gotten it in BluRay. The subtitles are a little blurry but it's still fine to read.

Honestly, this is one of my favorites when it comes to BL. I've been waiting to grab this anime for a long time and I'm glad this one has all the episodes + OVA but I was hoping for a blu-ray version. Hopefully there will be one in the long run.

I love the two main characters and how they interact with each other. It's sad, heart-warming, lovely, and funny all together. Oh and at times I get soo mad at our main couple but that's what keeps the story rolling. Wishing for more season of this anime.
