Nowhere Near as Good as the First, but Still Okay

This film follows our hero from the first Wolf Warrior, now working in Africa. He must once again fight a group of elite evil westerners to save Chinese nationals and African civilians. Yeah, the propaganda is a bit thick here. Other than that, it's mostly serviceable, with a number of good action scenes, but also some rather bad looking ones - particularly the fight with the tanks. It's clear that they wanted to do some things beyond their capabilities, and tried to cheat to make them work. In short, it went too big when it should have been more restrained.

Altogether, it's okay, but not great, and despite its amazing success in China, I wouldn't even rate it among their top 5 Chinese films in this genre. You can do a lot better.
