Strong Second Volume

This was a really good second volume. It had me hooked from start to finish. The artwork was absolutely stunning just like with the first volume. There was really good world-building where we learn more about the magic system and how careful witches in this world need to be when practicing magic. We get to see more of the other girls and get to know them a little bit better. One of the other girls gets a bit of a more in-depth backstory, which was really great to see because now I feel like I know and understand her better. We see Coco practice and slowly get better with magic, and Qifrey being an amazing teacher to her. I really love seeing how Qifrey interacts with the girls and how patient he is as their teacher. I'm already falling in love with these characters and can't wait to get into the next volume to see more of them! This particular volume leaves on a bit of a cliffhanger so watch out for that!
