A yearning murmur after the school bells ring

Whisper’s After Class was one that started out fine, and by the end and looking back, I appreciated it more and liked it for what it was. One chapter that really interested me was one involving a mermaid. The story goes for a mythical folklore, with some interesting setup. But then the ending just comes abruptly and it’s like “that’s how it ends?!” I feel like this could’ve been a multiple chapter tale to tell the rest of the story. There are a few other one offs that have a lot of plot to it that feel like it could have some more chapters to it to round out the characters and story. But what’s presented is good. Not perfect, but good. The art style and colored pages bring this book to life and there’s a nice variety of the female cast to make anyone their favorite. Overall, this one was satisfactory, but it did feel a bit off at times.
