Elegant and Heartfelt Yuri Story
by McChieley -
I cried many times reading this even though it was only the first volume. While it's not my all-time favorite yuri story it's beautifully told and really makes your root for the main couple. The English cover design is also very nice.
unfortunately terrible

I'm always searching for good yuri, unfortunately there's hardly any, and this is not one. I really REALLY disliked this manga. A lot of people compared this to Sweet Blue Flowers/Aoi Hana, i guess because one of the main girls looks similar, but the overall manga couldnt be more different tonally. If you want a TON of homophobic comments from girls directed at their friends because ~they're actually secretly gay too but they do by want anyone to find out~ then pick this up. Has way too much for my taste. It read more like a joke manga too except none of it was funny...I really disliked all of this and would never recommend it to anyone.
Completely Unprofessional
by Unruhe -
Whispered Words, in its entirety, is a solid yuri series with grounded, believable drama and ridiculous, unbelievable supporting characters. It primarily focuses on the earnest difficulty of two presumably incompatible people trying to connect.
The typesetting is terrible, with words cropped and chopped at the tops/bottoms of some pages. The text is positively riddled with errors: After ~3 chapters, typos and grade-school level grammatical errors occur every 2-3 pages.

On many panels, they didn't even bother scrubbing the Japanese, instead super-imposing the English over the image (and clipping or blocking stacked layers of English text) while leaving the Japanese intact in bubbles that easily would have been large enough to fit the English.
This release is the single-most sloppy, unprofessional, error-filled, lazy mess I've ever read on a printed page. It's so bad that I will never buy anything from this publisher ever again.
