Now that Yori has won Himari’s heart and they’re officially going out, it seems like everything should be easier. Being girlfriends brings its own questions, though—including what to do on their dates now that they’re actually dating! Yori wonders if it’s enough to do “normal” things, and Himari wonders if Yori still feels the same way she did before they started dating. Romance isn’t the only thing in their lives, either. Auditions are being held to see who will get to perform at the upcoming culture fest, and one of the other acts has a history with SSGIRLS!

Lot of build up

As one might expect from the start of the second arc, this volume has a ton of exposition and build up for both new and established characters - it does a great job of laying out a lot of information about the upcoming foreseeable conflict, but not enough that motives or emotions are very clear, just hinted at, and it's done wonderfully. In the middle of this, there's some great lovey-dovey moments between Yori and Himari, and it's refreshing to have some conflict in that centered around misunderstanding that then is immediately spoken about openly and resolved when I feel like most every other romance manga would make it an ongoing plot point to simmer in the back; it's especially endearing and heartwarming to see Yori, as timid as she can be, always be super open and honest to Himari about her feelings. I'm so ready for this series to continue for quite a long time
