For Kouji, who's looking for a job where he can meet lots of attractive girls quickly, it's the perfect place to work. Unfortunately, things get up close and personal even more quickly than expected when he collides with Azusa on the way to apply and ends up with a handful of her… well, suffice it to say that she's NOT happy. It's an instant case of hate at first sight that only becomes more intense when they end up working together… or is this mutual dislike really the start of something else? A good little Visual Novel adaptation

It seemed pretty promising in the first minutes when a witch ran through town trying to deliver a pizza.
The story is adapted from a visual novel franchise, I'm rather fond of some titles like Ef: A Tale, and Rumbling Hearts. If you're wanting something that doesn't stray into the maudlin range this is the VN adaptation you're looking for. The humor is fairly limited and more in service to character interactions than audience participation--> such as laughing.
It took half the runtime for me to start getting invested in the characters, but by the 5th episode I realized the show was saving its best content for last, and I came away from it feeling very satisfied with the experience.
I think I can recommend it as a good middle of the road VN adaptation. Won't blow you away, but it offers some casual fun and it can be completed in 1 sitting with no trouble.
