A beautiful and dramatic story with a surprising moral conflict

Soon after Hodaka meets Hina, they become highly requested in Tokyo to clear the skies of rain on her ability of prayer. But unknown to both of them there's a high price to pay should Hina overexert herself with this powerful ability.
The animation in "Weathering With You" is just exquisite, the rain sequences alone explains why it took Shinkai three years to complete this film. A great lighthearted story, that turns very dramatic, then leaves the viewer to ponder the questionable moral course of action by Hodaka regarding Hina's fate...totally caught me off guard and why it's highly recommended that you see this film!
Loved the design of the steelbook, as the raindrops on the front tends to have a sheen/sparkle to it when angled in the light for a cool visual effect. Enjoy in 1:78:1 theatrical format.
