Vinland Saga manga volume 10 features story and art by Makoto Yukimura in this hardcover edition.

When Thorfinn's unparalleled strength as a fighter is confirmed, he is roped into combat as a top contender to lead the Jomsvikings. Meanwhile, Floki plots to ensure that his grandson becomes successor, and sends his subordinate Garm after Thorfinn. Thorfinn soon finds himself cornered by the bloodthirsty Garm, a deadly spear fighter whose agility surpasses even his own. Though Thorfinn attempts to evade the conflict, Garm uses a hostage to lure Thorfinn to Jomsborg - where a group of the fiercest warriors await. Before long, the dispute over the Jomsvikings' leadership bleeds into King Canute's plans, and even lights a fire in Thorkell's battle hungry heart...

Stellar addition to the series. Welcome suspense and tense struggles!

Just as the last volume, volume 10 was a complete thrill to read. Plenty of suspenseful moments and action. Art is excellent and the characters always make each chapter a pleasure to read. Thorfinn is not always the main focus and that is clearly evident with this entry being driven by the introduction of a new character and the quandary that Gudrid, Einar, and Leif find themselves in. Fantastic entry and a good sign that this series is still strong in narrative and has room to grow yet since the series will be getting an anime adaptation soon.

I honestly can't find anything wrong with this volume. PLUSSS ULTRAAA

I must say that things just keep on getting better and better for this manga, It's also nice to see some humor now and then seeing as how theres is a lot of bloodshed in this series, especially in this volume.
