The Extended Cut of "Only You" Arrives on Blu-ray!

This Discotek Blu-ray looks stunning compared to the out-of-print AnimEigo DVD. It is presented in a matted-widescreen format, as seen in theaters. Some may criticize the lack of open-matte presentation, but I prefer the theatrical framing. Without question, this is the best "Only You" has ever looked for Western audiences.
Audio is available in both Japanese and an English dub in lossless PCM format. The Japanese track is dual-channel mono.
The English dub is advertised as dual mono, but I picked up on some slight stereo separation in the English dialog. Also, the mono music/effects in that track are a bit unbalanced and louder in the left channel.
The biggest feature of this release -- which goes completely unadvertised on the cover art -- is that it is the Extended Home Video Cut (100 min.). Unless I'm mistaken, the Japanese Blu-ray release is the shorter Theatrical Cut (90 min.).
Minor quibbles aside, retiring the AnimEigo DVD for this Discotek Blu-ray is a no-brainer.
