Good show

Kinda like another take on Shakugan no Shana. Exorcists fighting to save Japan. MCs slowly fall in love.
Complex tale that goes far beyond "destiny" and "fated love."

A complex tale that spans several years, giving the main characters time to grow. Both Rokuro and Benio have complex backstories, but so do many of the secondary characters. The numerous fight scenes are vibrant, sometime outrageous, but always creative.
Bonus for me is that the ages of the characters span generations, so this isn't just a teen adventure. Minor characters are well-developed which is crucial to the story.
Yes. It reminded me of Shakugan no Shana, but also Naruto, and other stories where the "facts" everyone knows become reinterpreted as the story unfolds.
