TLDR: be ready for the "welp that was F-ed up" feeling when you get to the end

Total Eclipse is a completed one shot. As with many a physiological mystery the ending is left somewhat open. Plot was simple and the mystery (if you can call it one) easy to figure out. It was an enjoyable read, but it’s a solid Average. The art was good; reminiscent of the 90's and late 80's. There is sex, not explicitly graphic enough to call Yaoi but more so then Shonen Ai. File under the BL catch all. I would recommend this to those who like darker, more twisted stories. I’m not sad I bought this and it will go on the shelf with my collection. Don't go expecting to find your next obsession, but worth the buy and read

This manga is such big oof but the good kind. You'll encounter the nasty and the good nasty. This manga is definitely not for the faint of heart unless you're into some nicely toned-down gore(?), mature scenes(the nasty kind yeah those), and other psychology stuff that will make you go OoF by the end of this manga. I really recommend it! (Y'know now that I think about you may even laugh at some scenes so enjoy!)
Do you ever listen to Bonnie Tyler's greatest hit and think "this could use more horror?" Do I have a story for you.

I bought this book after semi-accidentally reading the first two chapters online in a less-than-legal way, and I was enthralled by the story. I was interested then (and if you're looking at this, I assume you're interested now) because of the boys' love aspect, and while that's certainly an important element, in truth it takes a backseat to the horror. We've got a love story here, albeit a twisted one, but it's wrapped in a century-old mystery that has somehow come back to haunt our protagonist, among others. It reminds me quite a bit of Corpse Party, albeit more in themes than content: a curse stretching across time, violence against children, *just enough* sexual perversion, and an ending that makes you question if it could feasibly described as a happy resolution. I absolutely loved this book, and whether you're interested from a yaoi or horror standpoint, I cannot recommend it enough. It will stay with you for a long time, whether you like it or not.
I was captivated from start to end!!

I originally bought this based off of the amazing artwork. Once I started reading it I couldn't stop until the end. It does have a mature plot that is dark and twisted so it is not for everyone, especially the light hearted. But I personally love plots that take a surprisingly dark turn. It has an open ending that lets the reader decide for themselves what happens after the last scene. So if you like dark stories with gore then I highly recommend this manga.
