Toradora! Manga Volume 1
About Toradora! Manga Volume 1
Toradora! 1 features story by Yuyuko Takemiya and art by Zekkyo.
Ryuji Takasu has learned the hard way that appearances can be deceiving. Despite his inwardly sweet personality, his unintentionally sharp gaze and aggressive features give him the air of a delinquent thug, putting his chances at making new friends, let alone a girlfriend, next to zero.
It's Ryuji's first day in high school and it seems as if things are looking up. He gets to sit in between his only friend, Yusaku, and more importantly, the girl he's secretly crushing on, Minori Kushieda. But just when he thinks the stars are aligned in his favor, he unwittingly crosses the most feared girl in school, Taiga Aisaka, making her his arch enemy. To top it off, Taiga has moved in right next door to Ryuji and happens to be Minori's best friend! Can this school year possibly get any worse?!

A must-have manga!
by Shakugan -
I indeed bought the complete set of the Toradora Manga series, and I'm pleased to say that I was quite happy that I did. The whole thing was hilarious, it even gave off some emotional feels, but I managed. In all I recommend this manga to anyone who's seeking for a Drama/Slice of Life/Romance story. Though I have to say that I'm quite disappointed that the manga ends on volume 7... There was suppose to be more than that, because volume 7 only covered the middle part of the story, when there's still much more to cover, LIKE THE END of course. But don't worry the anime adaption of this series covers it all!
10/10 LOVE IT!!!!!

Possibly one of the best rom/com mangas I've read.
Toradora, Vol 1. (Vol 1 review only)

Totally nice dude (Ryuuji) that scares people because he has crazy eyes.
Fearless 4'8" girl (Taiga) with a berserker spirit.
Dude has a crush on berserker's bff (Minori), and berserker has a crush on crazy eye's bff (Kitamura). They need each other in order to be with their crushes.
Sounds simple right? For ol' crazy eyes it's not that easy though because the berserker won't let anything happen with her friend until she gets her man!
After reading Toradora, I had mixed feelings at first. While I really enjoyed it for the most part, and even laughed out loud a few times. The way Taiga degrades poor Ryuuji started to get a little overdone. It reminded me of the start of Nagatoro where she was really mean at first and started calming down a little.
I ended up really enjoying Nagatoro, and think this might be the same type of thing.
I am hyped to read more. I lol'd and liked the characters even Taiga. Also, I kind of hope they do a spinoff of Ryuuji's mom too.
A Must Have
