About This Art Club Has a Problem Blu-ray

This Art Club Has a Problem contains episodes 1-12 of the anime directed by Kei Oikawa.

A totally ordinary art club at the totally ordinary Tsukimori Middle School. There, Subaru Uchimaki squanders his artistic talent on his true passion and life's mission: drawing the ideal "2D wife." Club member Mizuki Usami finds herself with a crush on the hopeless Uchimaki. The seemingly uninterested club president is always sleeping, but he keeps a close eye on Uchimaki and Usami's antics. Then there's the mysterious Colette, who's usually lost in her own little world. When this ragtag bunch gathers together as the Art Club, there's sure to be some problems...

if its half off MSRP

by -

a generic / bland anime that does nothing special, nor goes out of the genre box that it represents. however, if you can find this for half off or more, or want to get your cart pumped up to free shipping, get this title. its not worth the MSRP, but it is worth a general watch if your between series.

An instant favorite for me

by -

This is easily one of my favorite anime of recent years. It's a nice slice-of-life series that has comedy and romance without being overtly rom-com -- it isn't overly-reliant on love triangles, "this isn't what it looks like" misunderstandings, or other usual tropes. I laughed, I liked the characters, and I appreciated the touching moments. The character designs are obviously similar to those you'd see in a Kyoto Animation series (particularly something like "Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions"), and the animation quality is good. One of my favorite things about this series is that each episode consists of 2-3 short scenarios. This means each segment moves along quickly and ends when it needs to rather than containing filler to pad the story out, and as a result I feel like I get a lot out of each episode.
