Dark fantasy

My copy of this manga arrived in great condition. I decided to try out this new series based off of the synopsis. I really liked the art style of this manga. There's a lot of details in the art especially in the backgrounds and the architecture. There was one part in the manga that I found a bit graphic but overall I really enjoyed the story.
A beautifully drawn dark & gory fantasy
by Kastie -
Though it's aimed at fans of xxxHolic and Noragami Stray God (other Kodansha titles—the violence/gore is more on par with Attack on Titan), the tone and aesthetic follow closer with Tokyo Ghoul (Viz) and Black Butler (Yen Press), with a twist of Blood + (Dark Horse). Exceptional art and snappy pacing throw the reader into the heart of this dark story from the start. In black and white, some of the initial action sequences are hard to follow, but it smoothes out after the first act's plunge. Smart dialogue & storytelling reveals much about the characters and their motivations without giving away *too* much in this first volume. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

A Beast of a Manga
by Mike -
Amazing art. I love how the art for the people is realistic and almost mundane but then suddenly a sky whale. Every image where magic is involved is explosively detailed, almost jarring compared to the normal scenes which gives it a creepy, dark effect.
It follows 2 people hunting a specific witch for revenge and dealing with other murderous witches along the way like Supernatural episodes which I love.
Only problem: It's a bit slow at first, it takes awhile before creepy things happen. Slow but nice character development between witch fights can feel dragging.
Dark fantasy

I like this manga because of the dark fantasy it does start off slow but i do enjoy all the art work and how everything played out on volume 1
Good series, but a little slow at first and book's quality is a little weak

A series I enjoy. The art and the world is interesting to read. Its very unique and i'd recommend experiencing it.
The only thing is its a little slow in the beginning of the series, the book, though larger than other series, still cant quite open up all the way naturally to really show off those two spread art pages, and the quality from kodansha leaves the book open to be easily damaged (mine had a bit of tears/creases at the bottom of the book when i took it out of the box) before even reading it yourself.
This book is at least a good intro to the series
