I was looking for a good comedy manga when I read about this. I was not disappointed! It was funny and lighthearted I loved it so much I’ve reread it 5 times now and I laugh every time. I can’t wait for the next one to come out.

This series is a series of cute shorts about a former yakuza thug who gave up the thug life, married a cool office lady, and is now dedicating himself to being a househusband. A terrifying househusband.
It's a comedy.
This series is adorable and absurd, showing our hero struggling to master everyday tasks with his hard-as-nails mindset from the streets. The whole thing makes a lot more sense once you realize he's viewing his wife as the "Boss," the same way he views the roomba as an underling. And his wife, whatta trooper. She just needs to keep him from cutting off a pinkie as a form of apology for messing up laundry. Housework never looked so gritty.

It's not that serious - but it is that funny

This was hilarious! I had to control my laughing on the bus to silent giggling. Tatsu, the former yakuza, has the most intense expressions about everyday tasks. It was a quick read, and I'm looking forward to knowing more about his wife (she's gotta be amazing to be with him). If you want fast, easy comedy, I think this is a good pick.

Hilarious Slice of Life

Decided to order this because of all the positive reviews. It's definitely one of the best comedy manga I've ever read/owned. The chapter with the rumba had me dying XD

Good but not great

The jokes didn't always stick the landing - it often felt like the ended a beat too early - but the artwork was good and I loved every scene with Tatsu and his wife. If this series can figure out how to keep the overall "tough guy taking household duties very seriously" gag fresh, this should be a fun series.

Could not put it down

I have not giggled at another series as much as I have with this one.
It doesn't have a linear plot exactly, just short chapters of about 10 pages or so of snapshots of 'The Immortal Dragon' and his wife life together.
It's easy to read through and finish, I look forward to reading the next volume!

A great slice of life and easy to read manga. Follow the daily episodes of Tatsu, ex-yakuza kingpin who now dominates in all things domestic. It's a hilarious and light story that is worth the read. Really nice illustrations and the paper is very good quality. Totally worth the buy!

Solid read

I think it's definitely a break from what you traditionally read. It's funny, not fully story driven yet and has its moments. You can see inspiration from older manga series that's trying to blend in with new style.
