A good release for a great show

Rising of the Shield Hero is one of the better isekai anime out there. It has some unique elements that keep it interesting, but also doesn't stray too far from the proven formula either. Production values are a step or two above a lot of other anime out there. If you like isekai/fantasy anime you'll probably be a fan of Shield Hero, and even if you're not it might still be good enough to be worth your time.
As for the release itself, it's about what you'd expect from a Funimation release. You get a digital copy code, but apart from that it's slim on special features. The case itself is reasonably attractive, and the discs themselves look good too, though they only have 2 artworks between the 4 discs.
