Familiar yet amazing
by Sebastian
The Promised Neverland started as something totally different from the current mainstream manga at the time. Its tense psychological horror really elevated the series above everything else at the time and made its first few arcs astounding. As the story went on it shifted to a more action-adventure-focused narrative up until now which has led it to be more in line with the typical shonen formula. Even though it is not as great as it once was don’t be deceived. This is still a great series with amazing world-building and concepts that are as frightening as they are intriguing. For all the people that stuck with the series from beginning to end you will not be able to deny its originality and great atmosphere all around. If your interested in the manga i highly recommend you pick it up and experience this journey.
The End
by Sara -
I definitely enjoyed this series watching their struggle for freedom and ideals. It was great to see how their opinions of the world and what was just changed as they interacted with one another. Some wanted violent revenge to ensure their safety while others wanted a bloodless way to be free. Yuugo was definitely my favorite; his character, the reason behind his personality, and his growth as the story progressed was really nice to see. Getting to see him and Lucas reuniting and later fighting for the children's future was a happy moment and felt like a satisfying end for both of them. Most of the story was very good but I do feel like the ending could've been better. Overall though, I highly recommend buying this series as it was very enjoyable
