The children of the Grace Field House orphanage have their happy lives upended when they find out they’re being raised to be fed to demons. Can they escape their fate before it’s too late?

Life at Grace Field House has been good for Emma and her fellow orphans. While the daily studying and exams they have to take are tough, their loving caretaker provides them with delicious foods and plenty of playtime. But perhaps not everything is as it seems…

Emma, Norman and Ray are the brightest kids at the Grace Field House orphanage. And under the care of the woman they refer to as “Mom,” all the kids have enjoyed a comfortable life. One day, though, Emma and Norman uncover the dark truth of the outside world they are forbidden from seeing. The children of the orphanage are being raised as food for monsters, and their loving caretaker is behind it all! Emma and the others plan their escape, but can they make it out before it’s too late…?

Freedom or be Eaten?

This is a rather interesting story, about these kids figuring out a way to escape from a place that is not an orphanage, but a farm for demons. You really route for these kids and I can’t wait till the next volume is released

This is a very tense book. I was excited this whole entire volume! I love how smart and strategic the characters, especially Emma. My volume arrived in perfect condition. Viz did an amazing job on this release. That ending was amazing, I cannot wait for February!

An Instant Classic

I don't know why it took me so long to finally pick this series up, but now I can't imagine not having it in my collection. From amazing characters like Emma to the unique art style, this story instantly draws you in with its innocent, charming appeal and keeps you coming back for more when you learn everyone has there own agenda in this dark, psychological mystery. The Promised Neverland should be on everyone's radar and I want to thank Rightstuf for delivering it to me in such amazing condition.

Really cool storyline and full of suspense. The entire series is fun to read. I 100% recommend if you're into a kinda dark and creepy read.

Whimsical, Tense, and Refreshing

So I picked this up on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Like many others have been pointing out, it is a tense story. Not so much in a horror sense but a psychological-thriller sense. The art is nice, the characters are very likable, and the set up to the story is insanely interesting. If you like manga where the main characters battle with their wits while dealing with intensely dire moments (death note being one example) then you are gonna love this.

Amazing manga!!

I am in love with the book and the art style, I had already seen the anime so the ending cliffhanger is super cool and the the suspense is just amazing. Definitely will be buying the whole series (Just bought 3-6 so waiting for that to ship)

If you watched season 1 of the anime and liked it, you gotta read the manga. Great story and awesome art. Definitely worth checking out.

Will Make You Want To Keep Reading

I watched the anime for this series and the second season seemed very rushed and I wanted to learn more about the story so I decided to read through the manga too. I was not disappointed with this at all and loved the whole story so much more. There is so much more detail in the series that the anime did not cover so if you liked the anime at all then I would recommend reading it for sure. The story is awesome and this first volume sets up the world really well and makes you want to keep reading the series to find out what happens.

How can a story that started so awesome become so awful?

by -

I actually really liked the first 10-12 volumes. Around volume 13 it just starts to (progressively) go downhill. Plot holes / character behavior that is totally out-of-character and feels like it was forced in that direction to make the main character's terrible ideas "work" / etc. This series started so strong that, regrettably, I bought all 20 volumes after reading volume 1. I'm writing this to try and spare others from making the same mistake.
