The Night is Short Walk on Girl Blu-ray/DVD
About The Night is Short Walk on Girl Blu-ray/DVD
The Night is Short, Walk on Girl is from the visionary mind of director Masaaki Yuasa.
As a group of teens go out for a night on the town, a sophomore known only as "The Girl with Black Hair" experiences a series of surreal encounters with the local nightlife ... all the while unaware of the romantic longings of Senpai, a fellow student who has been creating increasingly fantastic and contrived reasons to run into her, in an effort to win her heart. Featuring boundless imagination and visual wit, The Night is Short, Walk on Girl is a celebration of the unconventional, confusing routes that life and love can take, from one of the most exciting voices in anime today.

An Attractive Film
by Oscar -
Such a fun movie to watch. This was a blind purchase since I didn't know anything about it besides it being "Unique" and I was not disappointed.
The art is expressive and fascinating.
The music is lovely and enchanting.
The story is charming and enthralling.
A very "Unique" experience that the majority would enjoy.
(P.S. little weird Recommendation but i think it would be best to watch "The Night Is Short. Walk On Girl" at night for more "atmosphere". :3)
Yuasa comes up with an entertaining winner
by Anime Toad
For fans of Masaaki Yuasa, this is an entertaining movie. It's meant to be fun compared to the dark and serious tone of Devilman Crybaby. The art style reflects his unique approach to anime. While the storyline can be a bit disjointed at times, I definitely feel Yuasa fans will enjoy this movie. For those unfamiliar with his works, this is a better introduction than Devilman Crybaby.
One Of Masaaki Yuasa Best Works

This film is such a joy to watch, it's very untraditional in a film making sense it wonderfully encapsulates (in the literal sense) just breathtaking awe
Artistic and Weird (Recommended)

I was pretty surprised by how good this movie was. Everything from the zany plot and the colorful and peculiar artsyle, if you’ve seen Masaaki Yuasa’s other works, you know what to expect. The story is sort of episodic with each act different than the last but all connected together. Not everything made sense, but the characters are colorful and creative that they make every scene a joy to watch. My favorite part was the, out of place at first, musical scenes. To put it simple it’s a weird and sort of crazy film, but it’s imaginative and engrossing that I couldn’t look away. And how this movie was made, wow! The way it looks and flows, really makes this movie stand out. My only gripe with it is that it wasn’t dubbed. My view was mostly kept reading the subtitles and I would’ve liked to be concentrating more on the beautiful animation. But that doesn’t take away from this great film. After watching this, it really makes me want to watch The Tatami Galaxy and Masaaki Yuasa’s other works.
Good Blu-Ray for a good Movie
by Ali
Just like the Tatami Galaxy characters talk very fast in this movie, also there are a ton of blink and you’ll miss it references to Yuasa’s other works. So I found myself pausing and rewinding often with this film, which was made easy thanks to the Blu-Ray. Just like Tatami Galaxy I believe this film is best experienced on a Blu-Ray because you have to rewind a bunch. Good Blu-Ray to a Good Movie! (Also IMO you should watch Tatami Galaxy before this, it’s hard to derive the full value without having seen Tatami Galaxy)
