The Legend Of Korra would recommend

by -

This series compared to the avatar the last air bender tells a much darker story.

Villains - As for the villains that would appear in the show, they did a wonderful job setting up their story arcs and ending them as well at some points I was completely surprised.

Bending- The take on the police was great to see the moment I saw what benders they were I loved it! They also created a new sport pro-bending that I like very much, and I am not a very big fan of sports that much.

Now for the art- I love the mix of the industrial area and the modern age it is going for. Even all the animated fight scenes are well done.

The soundtrack- I did not dislike a single song. Each ost was very fitting for the era they are in. They did a great job on music cues, and I never need to turn up or down my audio to hear the soundtrack or when people were talking.

Character Development- This series has plenty of great character development.

Fantastic Sequel

This show is phenomenal! It's darker and more grown up than A:TLA and I love both shows equally. While it takes place in the same world decades have passed and much has changed. The world has been united, technology and culture have advanced and new bending techniques have been discovered. But not everyone is content with the state of this new world. I'm intrigued by pretty much every character and each story arc ramps up the stakes and draws you into the tension.

I only took off a star because of the physical merchandise. First of all, not one of the 8 discs snaps into the case. Second, it doesn't work the same on my PS3 as other discs I've played. Usually when I'm watching an anime on BR if I stop in between episodes the machine will pick up where I left off. With LOK I either have to start at the beginning and skip to the episode I want or pick 1 episode at a time going back to the menu between each one.

Despite the issues with the discs, I'd strongly recommend Legend of Korra.
