Story drags and manga ends abruptly in vol 4

by -

Volumes 3 and 4 close out this short series. 3 settled into the usual slow down and heaping exposition of a longer series. Volume 4 closes the villain battle and continues with a wasted chapter as though leading into volume 5. Except there is no vol 5. 😑 The author's note at the end confirms that 4 is the final manga and that the story continues in the novels.

The story lost steam and I was annoyed by what I got in the final two volumes. At least the first two volumes offered a cool short story, but if you're looking for a fleshed out and completed manga, look elsewhere.
