Future Diary Complete Series + OVA Blu-Ray/DVD

Purchased this back in 2017. Decided to review both versions.

Future Diary a twisted & intense action thrill ride w/many psychotic characters, themes, events & a hint of romance.

Premise is interesting if comparing to a show/movie it would be Battle Royal than GOT/SOA. An all out survival game where the winner becomes god of time/space. Of course like most anime’s many eps are predictable/redundant. Plus many have poor writing & lack of common sense, but even then still enjoyable. It’s over the top so don’t take the story seriously (example homicidal five year old).

I didn’t except much from this show from bad reviews I’ve read elsewhere. Overall I enjoyed the story, style of art & music.

For myself it’s been harder to find anime to watch that are enjoyable. This set left me hanging at the end which many shows have done.

Finally released w/the OVA ep! Somewhat of ending that doesn’t leave you hanging.
