During a plane hijacking four years ago, Kimitsuka Kimihiko wound up becoming the assistant to a beautiful detective named Siesta. An interesting tale

by -

As of the time of writing this I haven't seen the anime.

I'm a bit torn on this book, it's well written and the story is pretty interesting and I think anyone going into it will like it. On the other hand the constant changing of genres threw me off. Nigozyu even apologizes in the afterwords for the mash up of genres as he wanted to explore how the characters interact through the changes and honestly he pulls off the in-character moments well.

I guess my final thought is probably check out the anime first and then read the books if you like the feeling of it.
