Amazing!

First, the animation is incredible and the Japanese voice actors are wonderful. Of course, that alone doesn't make a show good - it's the characters and the story. The characters are well-defined and relatable in their roles. The interactions among them are well done. And, the story is a great mix of ancient activities and things coming to a sound conclusion in the present. But, be warned - the anime leaves you wanting more!

The dscription is slightly misleading as I do not think this Yaoi themed exactly. Yaoi implies sex or something along those lines yet I do not rememeber even a same sex kiss though my memory could be faulty. I would say it is lite Shounen-AI. I thorougly enjoyed it visually & plot wise though the story is a unique one not that that is a bad thing. Yes for reasons I will not go into there are strong emotions between the main protagonists who are both male, I got a BL vibe from other characters as well. etc...yet there is not remotely anything explicit. Just implied BL for some characters and some strong chemistry for the main protagonists which has to do with the main plot for the most part so I won't explain it in case a viewer has not seen it yet. You can definitely see attraction if only emotional rather than physical yet it does not impact the plot in a way that should truly bother anyone who is not comfortable with BL in my opinion.
Needs a Dub, not worth the money. Great anime though.

The issue I have with this, is that they still have not done a Dub for this, to make this Dual Audio. It's not technically Yaoi, but it IS shounen ai. Original manga story is as well. If Funimation would go back and DUB it, then the discs might be worth what they are asking.
