In The Hearts of Men
by MonkeyReadsALot -
The poisoning at the Winter Banquet is solved, and MaoMao finds a way to visit home--a way that leads to quite a misunderstanding. Darker in some ways, in part dealing with the constraints and consequences of how society deals with women. The characters are becoming more nuanced, and you begin to see that some things which seem unconnected may not be. Still highly recommmend the series.
