Best anime ever in my opinion! The dub is really good, the artwork is amazing, And the story is beautiful. Almost cried several times.
Great Purchase! Still has some flaws

If you've read the manga, I do believe that the anime does it justice. It's visually appealing, the voice acting is good (even the English one in my opinion), and I thoroughly enjoyed the OST.
If you haven't seen it and want to start with the anime, begin with the 3 OVA's, I believe that it gives a better prologue to the story, rather than beginning with episode 1.
Now this purchase was a little bit pricey, but I'm a huge fan and collector of the series, so of course, I'm biased to buy it. I like the little art book, and that little specials are also nice. It is only the 3 OVA episodes and the first 12 episodes of the series, so it doesn't cover the whole series, unfortunately.
Review of Funmation Limited Edition Box not the show
by Tim -
I will start by saying this anime is amazing, it wasn't to different than the manga. It has a great plot & the pacing isn't to bad, maybe a bit rushed at times. But overall I believe this anime is 4.5 to 5 stars & defiantly worth buying.
The Limited Edition Box looked beautiful & the extras looked great. My problem is with the Box Set, right in the item description (even on the Funimation page) it states: 5 art cards with exclusive art from Japan, 11x17 fabric poster, 40-page artbook with an in-depth look into the world plus storyboards, all housed in a rigid box with specialty print which will also accommodate Part 2. Yes you get all those extras which is great but it doesn't accommodate Part 2, you must take the extra box out. You then need a place to store the extras so they don't get damaged. This is not the only Limited Edition Box Set Funimation has done this to, especially recently, which is very disappointing. So buy Funimation Limited Editions with care?

This set is one of the few I genuinely like as the art is really nice and the extra comes with it is nice since its not over the top with trinkets I will never use plus saves a spot for part 2 when you buy.
this set is worth to buy while its in print.
Great Limited Edition for a great show

The artbox is great with the spine designed to look like a book while on the shelf. The gold foil accents are also really nice and give it the premium leatherbound book look. The extras are pretty standard for a Funi LE with some artcards and a small booklet. Would ahve been nice to see interviews included in the booklet though. The OST would also have been an amazing addition, but those can be more complicated to license.

One of the best purchases I've made in a long time. So many beautiful items included. The fabric poster is hung up in my living room.
