Overlord in Slime's Clothing
by Lynne
Picked it up day one locally and wasn't impressed. The title makes him seem weak but it's basically Overlord if Ainz showed up by himself and focused on recruitment instead of plundering. For reference he's so powerful that by the time he leaves the cave the locals are begging him to subjugate them, and the rest seems to follow this pattern. Art is nice, but not captivating. I ended up curious however and plan to at least get the next two or three volumes.
I love it!

So what's a guy to do when his heroic death gets him reincarnated as a slime? Guess you'll just have to read it. Lol. This series so far in 2 volumes is pretty clean. Only this volume out of the 2 had any cuss words. All in the very beginning of both the actual story, and the recap of events from the point of view of the storm dragon Veldora. The whole book consists of the manga part, followed by Veldora's point of view in novel form, plus a couple of silly bonus panels, an afterward/author's notes basically, and translation notes. It's about 230 pages long, which is prerty thick for a manga. This book was hilarious, but actually had a story to it. There is also a pretty interesting magic system, along with monsters and monster evolution system. If this were a real game I would totally play it. As it is, I really hope they make an anime out of this.
Another "born in another world" series... Don't skip this just because of that!

The protagonist may be a little overpowered in his new RPG styled world but he is no superhuman. He has his faults and it leads to some very funny interactions. If you're looking to see the world from a not-so-bad monster's point of view then you'll probably enjoy this series.
World building done well

Coming from the anime, this manga holds up and has nice art. It does explain things more than the anime and has a written section at the end that is veldora's journal. The tidbits in that are interesting and cover parts of the world/story that were not in the anime. The series itself is quite nice and is a wholesome journey towards building up a slimetopia.
Get it, you want it but you don't know you do yet!

You like fantasy? Do you like video games? If you imagine magic as super cool huge things, and or you're going to make things explode type of story. Get this, because TTIGRIAS is perfection at its finest! Every moment of this manga was exciting for me, and if you've watched the anime, it's a good companion to get other types of info that you wouldn't get otherwise due to the ending text which often explains various mechanics about the world via the commentary of a couple or one character. If you've been thinking about it, and you've watched or read other mangas like Overlord, Rising of the Shield Hero, or So What I'm A Spider. You're really going to like this one too!
Great read if you love the anime.

Great story, went way more in depth than the anime did. If you liked the anime, but want more of the technical aspect of the skills and monster evolutions, I highly recommend it.
My favorite Series

That time I got reincarnated as a slime is one of the best series I have ever read, not only does it have an anime and a light novel, now it even has a manga. It is your Typical guy died in Japan and gets reincarnated in a magical world book, this time as a slime. This being the first manga it really focuses on introducing the main character. It’s got action, humor, girls, and more. Like I previously stated this series is awesome! When I first saw it I was like a slime really but gave it a try anyways and boy I’m glad I did. Note I can’t get enough. The way fuse rights is really good. It flows, has suspense, and has me wanting more. Lastly the art in this manga is top notch Mitz really did an excellent job ask the characters really come to life
