This is a great anime!! War On Geminar is a well told story. The art is excellent. The music is almost like another character and it helps set the mood and acts as the smoothing/finishing for the whole anime. I have watched this anime many times and I would (and have) recommend it to everyone that I know.

A good extension to the tenchi series and can be watched seperatly from muyo and gxp.. the main character is well rounded . The heroins are fun and charismatic . The plot is evenly paced .if you have not seen the war on geminar or the tenchi series. The i more than sugest you add it to your list of must haves

I actually watched this series a couple years back. I rewatched it and decided to buy it here! It's definitely fantastic for a person who is both a fan of Tenchi Muyo, as well as a fan of Mecha genre titles. I'd recommend you get this, it's waaaay cheaper than buying both parts seperate. It's a good buy, no doubt.
An excellent show in its own right

This is not a new series anymore, but when it came out, I could have said it was the best written series that year. There is so much going on. Multiple intrigue circles, betrayals, uncertain alliances, civil war, all while managing to keep the overall tone fairly light hearted.
It is in the Tenchi Muyo universe, but only in the occasional reference or comment. In the final battle, anyone familiar with the Tenchi OVA will have their fist in the air, while everyone else will react about the same as the characters watching the battle first hand. In either case the viewer will enjoy what happens.
As a Tenchi series, there is of course a harem. Sort of. Not every girl falls for our hero. Some even have their own boyfriends. The youngest girls are not the least attracted to him, they are more interested in the power or prestige he would bring. The nerdy girl seems most interested in having a boy around she can talk mechs with. You get the picture.
Absolutely worth a watch.
