The conclusion to SAO floor 2 is exciting but satisfactory
by myskaros -
With this volume 4, the entirety of the first SAO:Progressive novel has been adapted to manga form. The main plot of this volume is the floor 2 boss fight along with related story threads for the fight. As usual, Himura's art is very clean and dynamic, easily giving a sense of speed to the exciting fights while employing expressive faces to maintain interest in the story events when there is less action going on. The manga largely depicts the events straight from the novel, but does mix things up here and there which keeps the read fresh and enjoyable beyond simply seeing the story visually. Readers of the first 3 volumes will not be disappointed.
