Ratings & Reviews
I love this. The price the packaging and the Anime itself was all good. I really enjoyed the first two dvd's of the 2nd season. I'd already watched the whole season on hulu with subtitles but I always enjoy being able to watch a show that's been dubbed. I get more out of it. I also just liked the voices used for each new character.
From blades, to bullets
Now we dive into the 3rd story arch of sword art online series where our seemingly invincible hero switches from swords to guns. Our hero though is faced with a mystery that is killing players with a single in game bullet. Uh oh! How does that work? As with every other arch in the sword art online anime series, this arch is no different when it comes excellent quality of voice acting, art, and overall story content.
Oh! The Dvds are good quality. I didn’t want to spend double for the blu-rays (call me cheap).
'Gun-Land' Storyline Is Worth Your Time

Thanks to Yuki Kajiura's soundtrack(which is excellent like always-- very 'Depeche-Mode'-influenced this time), I gritted my teeth and bought this one sight unseen, despite my seething hatred of SAO's previous 'Elfland' story-arc. I do not regret this purchase; the 'Gunland' story-arc is pretty good overall. Sinon/Asada is a great character(no wonder she's a fan favorite),and the GunGaleOnline setting gives a nod to first-person-shooter games(and 'Monster Hunter' in one scene) while creating a visually-arresting cyber-punk enviornment.
Warning: Due to blatant type-casting in the English dub, if you don't want to be inadvertantly-'Spoiled',watch this one in Japanese first!
Asuna fans may be disappointed,as she's given very little to do this time(what little she does is useful, though): the story focuses on Kirito and Sinon.
Hope this helps any non-SAO fans like myself decide whether or not to chance it--this one's a safe bet!

This was a good sequel to the first series. The story was done very well and kept me interested. It was an almost completed ending to the series.
