Great looking box set, if a little pricy.

Very beautiful art on the box and disks. Nice little poster with all the art used on one side. The blu-ray holders in each box are not cheap and hold the disks very well. They aren't like some you find that break in transit or after one use. Excellent construction. I am taking a star off for price as I still believe this is a bit pricey for a 5 year old series, which is unfortunately expected of Aniplex. However, the cost is definitely reflected in the quality and I am a big fan of Sword Art. As usual, another great Aniplex box set.

Worth the buy, SAO fans dreams come true!

This an amazing addition if you’re an SAO fan. Season II was one of the best season to ever be brought to the world of SAO. Entering into the 3 arcs, Phantom Bullet, Calibur and Mother’s Rosario, you’ll experience another great adventure with the SAO cast and the new VR world of Gun Gale Online. The Blu-ray Box Set includes every episode of the second season and even has bonus features that were quite entertaining. The package came on time and the Blu-ray Box Set is incredible. The artwork on the blu-ray box set is just awesome. Now, you may be asking yourself.. Should I buy this? Yes, indeed it is quite pricey but ask yourself this. When you buy something you really want, do you let the price stop you? Do you regret buying something that gives you happiness and entertainment? I think not. So if you’re an SAO fan, save up some money and buy this, because I guarantee it is worth it. Stay Cool!

Didn't Know I needed it till I saw it

Picked it up at Anime NYC, while pricey it was worth the it as the cover art alone is amazing. The GGO arc is my favorite in the SAO series along with the spin off series, worth the buy.

Favorite Arc in SAO and Best Girl is Sinon

by -

Just like my review on the first SAO Box Set, I'm just as pleased with this one. Everything works in the U.S. and I'm glad to now own SAO 2. Loved the GGO Arc and absolutely love Sinon. She's totally Best Girl of the show

One of my Favorite Isekai Anime by A-1 Pictures

by -

The first SAO anime was good, but SAO 2 is even better with the three story arcs within. The first, called "Phantom Bullet" featured the GGO Sniper known as Sinon along with Kirito with a...Lightsaber!? Followed with "Caliber, where Sinon joins the gang searching for the Sword Excaliber, and the heartbreaking story of "Mother's Rosario" full of sorrow.

SAO is definitely a great franchise to me for its high replay value, features some of the best action scenes that A-1 Pictures is known for, and contains an awesome soundtrack with memorable artists as LiSA and Eir Aoi on op/cl songs.

With news the series licensing might be ending soon by Aniplex, it's a good show worth owning for the great action, dramatic narrative, and once again, its awesome soundtrack.

Enjoy in 1080p / 16:9 format.
