About Sword Art Online Alicization Blu-ray

Sword Art Online Alicization contains episodes 1-24 of the anime directed by Manabu Ono and includes a Special Booklet, and Original Soundtrack CD.

The first part of Sword Art Online Alicization, the most intense arc, comes to Blu-ray as a complete set.

Sword Art Online Alicization brings the excitement that long-time followers have come to expect while drawing in new fans to the franchise.

Animated by A-1 Pictures, the powerful battle scenes have become more beautiful and emotional than ever before. Aside from the exciting battles, fans both old and new have fallen in love with the new characters that have been introduced in this latest installment of the series.

Before he knows it, Kirito has made a full-dive into an epic, fantasy-like virtual world. With only a murky recollection of what happened right before he logged in, he starts to wander around, searching for clues. He comes upon an enormous, pitch-dark tree called the Gigas Cedar, where he encounters a boy.

“My name is Eugeo. Nice to meet you, Kirito.”

Although he is supposedly a resident of the virtual world —an NPC— the boy shows the same array of emotions as any human being. As Kirito bonds with Eugeo, he continues to search for a way to log out of this world.

A quick review

Okay let’s just go ahead and say it and get it out of the way, wow, way to much money but I did buy it so I won’t complain to much. Also I’m so glad they skipped the volumes and just gave us the box set, thanks. Now for the product, the art for everything is beautiful. The book that came with it is a must have for any SAO fan and the cd sound track was a nice touch. I have to say the box that the dvds sit in is sturdy so that’s nice too. Sadly though unlike the other box sets of SAO this one had no poster. Was really hoping to get one with this set too but oh well.

If you really love SAO or this season in general, add it to the collection

Price wise, it caused me major hesitation but anything by Aniplex is $$$ and I really wanted this to be apart of my collection and now it is. The box art is so beautiful, the box itself is pretty sturdy, the blu rays cases are also very thick and sturdy and the artwork on the front, back, and inside each of the two cases are all different and very beautiful. The booklet provides a list of the characters and has drawing of them in various stages of their life/outfits, it also includes a dictionary which is a really neat touch. The booklet also includes a track list from the soundtrack cd, the episode list and there are a few pages of key art visuals, there's one page with various weapons on it and the last page includes the cast and staff.
I absolutely loved this season of SAO, this and War of the underworld are my favorites. The art style, the detail and depth to each scene it is incredible, battle scenes, and story were all amazing.

SAO Has never looked this great, cant wait for the last set!

I personally had a hard time streaming this for a while, and after purchasing this set, I was finally able to catch up post Ordinal Scale on SAO. The quality of the video was fantastic, and really did the digital world shown in this serious justice.

I love the packaging the blu rays come in as well as a Physical collector, just like SAO1&2. I was skeptical at the price, but overall, I feel is worth it to finally have this season!
