Unfortunately, his neighbors and friends consider him the weakest boy in the village and are sure Lloyd will meet his doom the minute he sets out on his foolhardy journey. But no one realizes that by living near the most dangerous dungeon in the land, what the locals consider to be everyday annoyances would be apocalyptic for anybody else! Fun little read

by -

This manga is pretty fun, if a little lacking in plot, but this is only the 1st volume so i guess that's something that can be overlooked. The artwork is nice as well.
The gist of the story is our mc Lloyd here is incredibly overpowered, however he comes from a town filled with other overpowered people, making him look like a weakling by comparison. This creates an interesting situation where a clearly op character is completely unaware of his own abilities, as he really does think he's super weak, and of course, this is the basis for a lot of the comedy in the manga.
Lloyd himself is a very kindhearted person, but also a bit naive, and i'm not sure if supposed to be presented as a little dumb, or if that's only for the sake of comedy, but i think he's a pretty likable mc.
It's well worth at least trying, i think, and i'm looking forward to seeing how this weakling* mc does for himself.

The Theory Of Relativity

Yes, for the capital in Azami Kingdom Lloyd is overpowered even though he is the weakest person in his home village. I normally don't care for really naive characters, but Lloyd's extreme naivety is what makes him likeable. I do enjoy characters with crazy crushes but find Selena, the Belt Princess quite annoying. This story has plenty of funny moments and is quite enjoyable to read. My only real problem with the story is most of the characters at the academy recognize right away Lloyd's potential power. I would have liked to see moments where other characters had tried protecting Lloyd believing he was a weakling who needed their help.
