Super cub is super chill.

The art is a little weird at first but I like it. I've read complaints about it though. The show is slice of life with very few moments of drama or comedy. Only one major dramatic part I can think of. The sense of realism is top notch and the bonus footage of the crew scouting locations for the sets shows why this show feels so real. The pacing is solid. I watch mostly slice of life and this show is better than average. As a big fan of relaxing shows I'd give it a B+ or 4.5 stars. This is not an emotionally charged series in any way. In spirit, it strives for hyper realism of a quaint young girl getting along on her own in rural Japan. It succeeds in this and overall Super Cub is just super chill.
