A solid story for returning fans

I picked this up the day of release! I love the series in all its localized forms.

The movie wraps up the events of the first two seasons with references to the The Sky That Connects Us manga. Here we see tremendous growth from returning characters -particularly Yoshika and Perinne. The other girls are doing great too.

Fanservice aside, if you liked Akane's development from the first season of Psycho-Pass to the movie, you'll definitely like watching Yoshika as well.

The dub was nice too, and I was happy that Jamie Marchi was back on ADR Scripting. I just wish there was another commentary with her and Trina Nishimura like in S2.

I'm anxiously anticipating the localization of Brave Witches! Get to it, Funimation!

Fun Romp

A fun romp in the Strike Witches series. Not as good as I had hoped, but still worth watching if you are a fan of the series.

Not Bad

The Strike Witches movie is defiantly an improvement over the First and Second Seasons.

I would suggest watching the movie before the series as the Series feels more like a failed attempt to reward the loyal manga fans then telling an engaging war themed story.

Still No Pants

The movie starts with a quick, "Where are they now," to re-introduce us to most of the characters while also setting up the new threat posed by the Neuroi. In the end, only the Strike Witches can halt their advance and save the day.
All in all, it feels like a nice addition to the series. While not quite as much fan service as the first two seasons, you still get a nice feeling of the camaraderie between the girls.
