About Strawberry Panic Manga Complete Manga Omnibus

This Strawberry Panic complete omnibus contains both volumes plus two previously unreleased chapters! Features story by Sakuro Kimino and art by Namuchi Takumi.

For new transfer student Aoi Nagisa, St. Miator Girls' Academy offers her the chance at a fresh start and a way to redefine herself. But these noble intentions go out the window when she catches her first glimpse of honor student Hanazono Shizuma, whose porcelain white skin and goddess-like beauty leave Nagisa speechless.

It's puppy love at first sight, but naive Nagisa is unaware that Shizuma is a serial heartbreaker who has set her sights on Nagisa herself. Will Nagisa end up as another notch on Shizuma's belt, or does fate have other plans in store for the new couple?

Okay first of all the art is amazingly cute! The manga is not like the anime. Its actually really different. Many people are disappointed by how different it is from the anime....but boohoo its actually worth the read! I like the manga better than the anime :D

A 'Complete' Lie and Waste of Money

by -

Having heard good things about the 'Strawberry Panic' anime but not having seen it, I decided to check out the manga. The so-called 'complete' collection starts off well and the art is solid, but the story feels a little light and rushed. The underpinnings for a solid story are there, but there's really no developed relationship between characters before things get chucked into the deep end.

That's not the reason this receives only one star nor is it the reason I consider this one of the biggest wastes of money I've encountered this year. Instead, it's the fact that this 'complete' collection is not!

It stops at what I'm guessing is the halfway point. It's not a matter of a vague ending - it's that they just stop the story without resolving ANYTHING. Just at the antagonists are introduced, the omnibus is over, without even a few pages of just text to say 'hey, we know the manga was never completed but here's how the story ends!' Nothing. Don't waste your money!
