Such a fantastic series so far!
by Michelle (In Libris Veritas)
The first volume took me by surprise with how much I truly enjoyed it, but the plotline and family dynamic was just too good. I'm happy to say that I found Volume 2 to be just as strong as the first. We see more of the plan that Twilight set into motion come to fruition and now we have even more hurdles to overcome, like school work and making friends!
There were so many little wholesome moments mixed in with the ridiculous that I was either smiling constantly or actually laughing out loud. If you haven't had a chance to check out volume one, I really recommend giving it a shot! I know I'll definitely pick up of a physical copy of this when it drops in September.
*Thank you Viz Media and NetGalley for the review copy.

If you liked spy family volume 1, there is no doubt that volume 2 will be your new favorite. I loved the way anya, yor, and loid have continued to evolve and grow closer to each other. This is one of the most wholesome manga out now. Not only is it wholesome, but the art is also incredible. I often found myself on the same page for multiple minutes because the art was simply mesmerizing
Loved it.

Another must read!

Anya’s school adventure is hilarious and the reader finally gets to meet Yuri — the brother we know so little about. There is also a bonus chapter of the family at the zoo that you don’t want to miss!
Anya goes to school, this is now officially also a school manga. Is uncle Yuri a menace to our beloved family?

Perfect Condition as usual. The cover shows in my opinion our MC, Anya is the personification of the readers in the story, being amazed at everything she hears through her telepathy, that none of the other characters know. Operation Strix has a rough start, Anya has some problems entering the elite school, because of course she cheated when Loid adopted her after hearing his thoughts to make him think she was a genius, also once in, she immediately picks a fight... with none other than the target's son. We also meet uncle Yuri, Yor's baby brother, who of course works for the government discovering traitors, such as spies or assassins, but this is also a secret. Will our couple be found out, will Anya know what his uncle does for a living, will Anya earn the stars needed to complete operation Strix? The plot thickens, but the comedy ensues!
Strong continuation, just as good as the first!

I can't overstate how much I love this series. Volume 1 starts strong and volume 2 continues to build. I think this series does a great job of maintaining a quick pace, but not overwhelming the reader with too many new characters and plot points at once. I find myself getting more and more attached to the characters, and I'm very invested in the future of their unusual family. The art is also gorgeous and very clean, and I love all the extras that are included in each volume.
Funny and exciting read!

This series is jammed packed full of action and comedy. That helps move the story along. Introducing fun and exciting misadventures.
New Missions, and intriguing New Characters in Volume Two
by MKY -
Another fun read, as the Forger family finds out if Anya passes the entrance exams for Eden Academy. Not only is Loid's Handler introduced here, the spoiled brat Damian Desmond makes his appearance, but it was very funny with the introduction of Yor's brother, Yuri Briar who has another laughable deep secret mission of his own.
This second volume includes a wonderful 'Extra Mission' manga story that was featured as a one-shot in Weekly Shonen Jump, where Loid takes Yor and Anya to the Zoo/Aquarium Park. The mission mayhem that ensues is splendid writing. Five Stars and another highly recommend buy. Enjoy!
