A Brilliant Sequel

by -

Without explicitly spoiling the end of the first novel, I was a little concerned but still optimistic, about the future of the story of this series. Thankfully, this volume put any concerns I had to rest. For one thing, this volume helps mitigate the confusion in remembering each individual girl by separating them into groups of 4 and focusing on only one of the groups. This separation of the girls into groups also gives the author the ability to focus on fleshing out 2 of the girls in the main group that didn't get much attention in volume 1. Overall, I think volume 2 is a significant improvement over the first volume, and I can say, with confidence, that I will be with this series for the long haul.
