About Space Patrol Luluco Essentials Blu-ray

Space Patrol Luluco contains episodes 1-13 of the anime directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi.

Luluco’s dad has been frozen in a block of ice, and there’s only one way for this middle schooler to pay for the treatment—by taking his place in the Space Patrol! It’s a total pain, until she gets partnered with some perfect crush material, a.k.a. the handsome Nova from outer space. After her hometown of Ogikubo gets sucked into a black hole, it’s up to Luluco and a bunch of weirdos to track it down.

A Mako like spinoff that felt right

by

Honestly this was a weird one, but in a good way. The best way to describe it, would be like if Mako from Kill la Kill had her own spinoff. If you're familiar with studio Trigger's work, then you should know what to expect. There's even references from studio Trigger's other works present here, such as Kill la Kill, Inferno Cop, and Little Witch Academia. It did take me a while to get into it, but by the end I liked it.
