So I'm A Spider Vol. 4 Review
by Michael -
I love this series, I love this book, and I love the main character! Unlike the majority of isekai where the protagonists are overpowered from the start or become so with seemingly little effort, our little spider had to crawl and struggle, facing death numerous times, before she can become as powerful as she is. Even so, she's still quite low on the food chain as evident by the main antagonist in this novel, her mother, who is 5 times stronger than the the previous baddie, Araba. But wait, there's more...Grandma! Where as other isekai protagonist can simple one shot their enemies, the spider had to overcome her foes with strategy and I just love that. And the snarky sarcastic conversations she has with herself just make her as a character even more enjoyable. As for the side story, I would say it's uneventful and more of a calm before the storm. It does however go more into world building and along with the main story give a clearer understanding of the timeline of the two stories.
Got back to survival

This series concerned me when it made the protagonist getting pretty overpowered in the third volume, but the struggle comes back to her hard in this volume. We learn more about the world, mother, and the system. It is a great continuation in a very good series. If you liked the previous books, you'll like these.
