Cute

Adorable story about the bond between a kid who just lost his mother and his Uncle taking him in. Good comedy, easy feel good show.

Heartwarming Comedy

A fun and amusing slice of life story of Chihiro, a young boy who finds himself orphaned at a young age and moves in with his estranged uncle. Following the last words of his mother, "Those who do not work, shall not eat." and not wanting to feel indebted he agrees to work as a maid for his uncle. The story and pacing are excellent and well written. It is at it's core a story about family, and it's complicated relationships with a good mixture of comedy that doesn't feel forced, but natural. I rate it at 5 stars out of 5, especially since I had not expected it to be as amusing and enjoyable a watch as I found it to be.

A baffling show that doesn't seem to have an intended audience

by

Who is this for? No one, apparently; it's too dry, lacking in gags, and low energy (and has too much drama) to be a comedy but doesn't put in the effort to be a proper drama, either. It's not gay enough to appeal to fujoshis and the boy isn't cute enough for trap fans, nor does it focus on those angles.

It's just an unappealing daily life show with no charm, no moe, no compelling characters and no laughs.

Cute slice of life

I watched this as it was simuldubbing and loved it, its a charming slice of life that I enjoyed from start to finish.
My only issue with it was the ending, to avoid spoilers of anyone who hasn't seen it I will just say I would have liked more closure, and I don't really know why they couldn't have given it to us, even just a small heartwarming scene after the ending song to give that last feelsy smile.
Despite that I enjoyed it fully and look forward to owning it.
